First post

Hello, I'm new to this community by the fact that this is my first post here, but I've been subscribing to this journal for ages now. It's been pretty quiet, so I thought I'd finally make a post and share a few photos I've taken around Whaley Bridge and Chapel-en-le-Frith, the area in which I live. I had some photos of the Whaley Bridge Morris Men, taken on Boxing day, which unfortunately did not turn out well at all, which is a shame, as they would've felt right at home here. Anyroad, hello and hopefully some people still atleast read this community. :)
Current Location: The High Peak!
Current Music: New Order - Age Of Consent

'Anyroad', yep, you've definitely been in the area a good while!

Nice to see some activity in this community and great pictures too, truly scenic. I may very well being posting again about some of my own days out in Derbyshire.

Ha! A bit too long, I sometimes think.

Thank you for the photographic comments and you should definitely post some of yours. Keep the community active as well as sharing photos of a beautiful county.

I thought I recognised the scenery! I'm over in the Manchester direction, but we often dance in that area (Milltown Cloggies, who dance North West Clog Morris). I also see a fair bit of the Powderkegs (Border)

Are the Powderkegs most often seen in red and yellow with blacked out faces? If so, they're the group whom I see most often. That said, it's very possible I've even seen your group as well. You should post some dates in this community when your lot are out in the area, give me a chance to finally get some decent photos! :)
